About our Bed & BreakfastYour comforting home away from home in Bracebridge - Spirit Bear Bed
& Breakfast is in a church that has carefully been renovated
into a beautiful and spacious home, located in a quiet
residential neighbourhood, but central to downtown Bracebridge. The frame Primitive Methodist Church was built in 1845, and purchased by The First Baptist Church at Bracebridge
in 1887. In 1892 the building was bricked, and in in 1936, an addition
was built at the back. The building functioned as a church until 1989.
Since that time the church was converted to a home, and in 2007, to a
bed and breakfast.

| Directions: From the South - Drive North on Hwy 400 to Hwy 11 to Exit 182 onto Hwy 118, following directions to Bracebridge. Turn Right at the first set of traffic lights onto Ecclestone Dr. Continue along Ecclestone about 4km to a four way stop. Turn left onto Ontario, then Right onto Dominion. Quebec St. is the first street on the left, after the firehall. We are at number 67. From the North - Drive South on Hwy 11 to Exit 189. Follow the signs to Bracebridge. Turn Left on Manitoba St., then at the four way stop, Right onto Ontario and then Right onto Dominion. Quebec St. is first on the left after the firehall. We are at number 67. | ||||||
