About our Bed & BreakfastNestled at the edge of the forest in the hamlet of Aspdin, our home is open to those who love nature. A full deck surrounds the house and leads to a large gazebo where one can enjoy breakfast or simply enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. You may explore the 98 acres on which our home rests by walking out the door and following our trails to the meadows, ponds and glades. Our rooms are large and well appointed and offer comfort and privacy - you may read,enjoy games and puzzles in our common room or watch a favourite TV show or DVD. After a day exploring Muskoka you may want to relax in front of one of our wonderful Franklin stoves or enjoy the Muskoka Sky on our deck or in our hot tub. After a good night's sleep you will awake to the sound of birds, the smell of fresh brewed coffee and look forward to a full country breakfast served to you in our open comfortable dining area. Our bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The country manor suite offers a king size sleigh bed, handcrafted locally, a private balcony and a double jacuzzi. The garden suite is a two-room suite with a queen size bed in one room and a double bed in the other. There is a lovely view of the forest. The terrace suite is a large room with two generous 48” beds. This room has a patio door which provides easy access to our trails. Our trails are accessible all year round. We welcome cross country skiers, snowshoers, birdwatchers or those who simply like to stroll through the woods. On our 98 acres you find some fascinating beaver ponds, wonderful birds and a variety of other wildlife. We are close to Huntsville, Rosseau, Bracebridge and Algonquin Park yet we can still offer solitude and seclusion. Breakfast is a full country breakfast but we will accommodate special dietary requests. Breakfast is served between 8 a.m and 9:00 a.m Smokers are welcome to smoke on the deck, but please smoke away from open windows and doors Please do not smoke on the trails. We have two guest friendly dogs but we cannot accommodate guest pets. Rates |
