Ryde Cottage has been featured in the 'Communities in Bloom' garden tour for Gravenhurst. Our peaceful gardens and rustic trails throughout our 100 acres of pristine bushland feature a beaver pond, diverse wildlife, and recreational trails on our doorstep.

About our Bed & Breakfast

Just one hour north of Barrie, only fifteen minutes from Gravenhurst, find peaceful solitude.

Waterfront property on Ryde Lake. Walk the trails to the beaver pond, enjoy the gardens, fish for pike and bass from the dock or canoe. Soak up the sun on our large decks. A quick eye will pick up all sorts of wildlife activity including loons, deer, beaver. For the snowmobile enthusiast, we have access to Snowcrest Trail#3.

The Tiffany Rose Room has a pine four-poster bed with pillowtop mattress and down duvet, overlooking typical Muskoka forest scenery. Cherry floor and oriental rug complete the comfortable ambience. The Butterfly Room has a double four-poster bed, cherry floors, and overlooks the butterfly garden. Both rooms have comfortable easy chairs and share a 5 piece bath.

The Community Room on the lower level overlooks the lake and offers a quiet place to relax , watch satellite television, play games, and enjoy the wood fire.

Home-made muffins and preserves, waffles and pancakes with Muskoka maple syrup, farm fresh eggs and fresh fruit, along with brewed coffee will prepare you for a day of Muskoka activities.

No smoking. Dusty Rose our cockapoo and Miss Kitty, our calico cat, request no furry visitors.

Directions: From Highway 11 take Exit number 175 onto Doe Lake Road and proceed east 8 kilometres to Housey's Rapids Road. Turn right and proceed south two kilometres to Fire Route 25. Turn right and proceed one-half kilometre to 1053.3. Watch for Ryde Cottage B&B signs.
