About our Bed & BreakfastOur Bed and Breakfast, open year round, is situated directly on the Muskoka River overlooking peaceful Annie Williams Park, minutes from downtown. The front lawn offers total relaxation with large Muskoka chairs on
the terraced area with fire pit. You may simply lounge, play
horseshoes, swim, fish, or boat just steps from your rooms. Limited
boat docking is available but must be booked ahead of your arrival.Our location is downstream from the Bracebridge waterfall, so Lake Muskoka can be accessed. Various full styles of breakfast are offered, usually served in the dining room beside the antique pump organ or, weather permitting, on the screened-in porch overlooking the water. The "Riverview" guest room has a queen size bed complete with a small refrigerator, TV, radio/alarm and facilities for making coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The ensuite with shower is decorated in antique style pine design. This has a private outside entrance direct from the waterfront with private sitting area beside it. Prices are $70 single or $110 per couple per night. A cot for a third person is available at $20 extra charge. "Krug's Kabin" is a separate facility which has a large area suitable for two to four guests (1 Queen bed and a double pullout). This room has been decorated in beautiful rustic pine wainscotting with a gas fireplace. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave and facilities to enjoy a hot or cold drink. It also has a fresh cold water cooler, surround-sound stereo, wake-up alarm, TV, and air conditioning. The three piece bathroom (ensuite) has a large one piece bath/shower. Prices are $70 single or $110 per couple per night. It is $20 extra for each additional person. (Four persons maximum). A third bedroom, upstairs, has a Queen bed with a shared bath decorated in antique style furnishings. Prices are $70 single or $110 per couple per night. Within two blocks, you may walk to the Lady Muskoka cruises, enjoy mini-golf, fine or casual dining, tennis courts, tobogganing, snowmobile trails, nature trails, and cross country skiing. Near by you may visit Santa's Village, Segwun Steamship Cruise, golf, theatre, and many artisans for various crafts and art displays. Note: no pets permitted on property (smoking permitted outside only). |
